Relaxing Activities in Bryan-College Station

The hustle and bustle of the school year (and football season) is upon us. Or maybe you're reading this and just got through with a really hard week at work. If you're in need of some relaxation, here are several ideas for calm activities outside the home that might just mellow out your day!:

1. Pick out a new book at Hyperbole

Hyperbole is a local indie bookstore owned and operated by a mother-daughter duo. They have a lovely curated selection of books and even a fun "Blind Date with a Book" concept!

2. Take a sunny walk at a local park

There are so many great parks in Bryan-College Station, but I highly recommend going to Lick Creek if you haven't ever been. Central Park and Gabbard Park are also great and fairly shady.

3. Stop & smell the flowers at The Gardens at Texas A&M University

TAMU Gardens are free and filled with tons of beautiful flowers to enjoy. I recommend parking in lot 97 (paid) for the closest spots, but parking is free on the weekends.

4. Grab a cup of decaf at Polite

Polite Coffee Roasters is located in Downtown Bryan and has a delicious decaf called the Volcan blend!

5. Pick up fresh produce at The Farm Patch

The Farm Patch is an outdoor produce market in Bryan, Texas. They have fruit, veggies, plants, and more, PLUS an atmosphere that's less hectic than regular grocery stores.
