1. Larry J. Ringer Public Library

This College Station public library is part of the BCS library system, where Brazos County residents can get free library cards. They offer many storytimes every week for different age groups:

Mondays

9:30am – Roaring Comets Storytime, ages 1.5-3 years

10am – Roaring Comets Storytime, ages 1.5-3 years

10:30am – Blast Off into Reading, ages 4-7 years

Tuesdays

9:30am – Shooting Stars Storytime, ages 0-1.5 years

10am – Roaring Comets Storytime, ages 1.5-3 years

10:30am – Blast Off into Reading, ages 4-7 years

2. The Gardens at Texas A&M University

Throughout the summer months surrounded by colorful flowers in the gardens, garden themed books are read aloud. Admission to the gardens is free, but parking on weekdays is paid. We suggest parking lot 97 which is a very short walk to the gardens and offers the closest accessible spots for those who need them.

3. Clara B. Mounce Public Library

Another library in the BCS public library system where Brazos County residents can get free library cards, is located in Downtown Bryan. They offer multiple storytimes on Wednesdays.

Wednesdays

9:30am – lapsit storytime, infants

10am – toddler storytime, 0-3 years

10:30am – kids, ages 4+

4. The Childrens Museum of the Brazos Valley

Located in the scenic Lake Walk area of Bryan, TX, The Childrens Museum offers storytime weekly. While the museum has a fee, mention you are there for storytime to attend the book read-alouds for free.
